Hello! How are you? I hope you are fine together with your loved ones. I would like to start my letter asking for your prayers for my mom because she is suffering from gastritis. In the past, she went to the doctor and was under a medical treatment, but it did not work. She is no longer taking medicine, but she is praying for a miracle; I am sure God is hearing our prayers. She is the only one who covers our needs since my father abandoned us many years ago; I do not have any information about him. My mother works as a weaver, and she raises pigs and hens for selling. She helped me to write this letter for you.
I tell you that I did not attend school this year due to our low resources. I am now working as a maid, and I am helping my mom financially. It has been a new and good experience for me because I am earning money by myself. I thank God for giving me this great opportunity and experience. I have a friend named Deisy, and we like talking about our personal things when we meet. I identify a lot with my mom because we share many things in common. As a family, we are attending the Catholic Church, and we enjoy all the activities done there. We have received encouragement from LW Evangelism team, and we are grateful for that. I say goodbye to you for now.
Sincerely yours
Marta Julia Portuguez Benito
