My Story

Hello! It is such a blessing to write this letter and share with you a little about my 2026 news. My full name is Teylor Eduardo Rojas Contreras, and I am 16 years old. I am glad and grateful for all the blessings I have received at LW-Adopt A Child. My family and I pray God blesses your life and all those who trust and support this organization with your donations. I have attended the feeding program for about twelve years. I like the Bible lessons because I learn how I can be a better person to honor Jesus. My mother and I still attend a group from the church because it helps us to grow spiritually. Even though we know that God is merciful, we sometimes do not feel that we deserve to get into Heaven because of our sins. Brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel and invited us to trust in God’s promises. He also advised us to make an effort to assure our salvation. That was really a blessed time!

I tell you that my mother makes a living by selling homemade perfumes and frozen bananas covered with chocolate. She visits my father in jail every Friday and brings him hygiene products or whatever he needs. Being in charge of covering our family needs alone has been difficult for my mother, but she does not give up and looks for strategies to earn a little bit more by selling her products in fairs. The goodness of the Lord never ends and proof of that is that we are all healthy. I tell you that I am repeating eighth grade at school, but I am doing my best not to fail. At home, I usually help my mother to do some household chores. I have heard that some people prefer cold rather than hot weather or vice versa. However, I like both because you can play with water when it is hot or sleep warmly when it is cold. It is time to say goodbye, but I appreciate you took the time to read my information.
