My Story

Dear Sponsor,

I am very happy to update you on my personal information. I am Isela Berenice Rosa Dionicio, and I am now 13 years old. This year, I am in seventh grade and I study from 8:00 am to 12:00 every day; I am attending school because I do not have a phone where I can receive my classes online. I am a little afraid to attend school due to the virus, but my mother has told me that she trusts in God and it will not affect me. I am the only one who attends school, and when my teacher is not there, I can use a computer and connect to my classes. My mother earns a living by selling typical dishes and snacks. She has a baby girl with another man and he is sending money for his daughter’s expenses.

My father does not live with us and he has told my mother that he has not been sending money for my needs because the pandemic is affecting his economy. It has affected us a lot and we have been surviving thanks to the support from our family, the local municipality and the feeding program. We have seen God’s faithfulness in our lives because He has provided food and a place to live. LW’s grocery bags were a great blessing for us because we got them when we needed them most. We pray God blesses this Ministry for all I have received. Thank God, my family has not gotten Covid-19, and they are in good health. We are not attending church because we are afraid to catch the virus. We listen to or watch the preaching on TV. Lastly, I want to tell you that my mother helped me to give this information by phone to a LW Evangelism teacher. The staff did not meet us personally because they are avoiding physical contact as much as possible since they want to protect us from the current virus. I thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

Love and kind regards

Isela Berenice Rosa Dionicio
