I am glad to say hello to you through this letter. This is Maycol, and I hope my news finds you having a good day. My family and I are Catholics. We attend mass on Mondays and Wednesdays. We trust and love God, so we are sure to get into heaven. As you know, my parents separated some years ago. My father, Juanito Garcia, is 32 years old. He makes a living by driving a truck. He is healthy and helps us economically every month. My mother, Estela de la Cruz, is 26 years old. Fortunately, her health is good. She is a housewife, weaves typical blouses, and raises hens to sell. She covers other needs with her income. Besides that, she raises pigs and grows corn for our consumption. Thankfully, my health condition is good. I turned eleven years old in August. What I love the most is having grilled meat to celebrate my birthday with my family.
I am in fourth grade this year. I consider that receiving face-to-face classes is the best way to understand the lessons. I am still younger, so I have not thought about what I want to do to make a living when I am older. However, I would love to speak another language like English. Fortunately, my parents have not had trouble covering my school needs despite the highest cost of food and other needs. Christmas is my favorite time because I love seeing how people burn firecrackers. I love drinking water and playing soccer. Now, I want you to know that LW represents a great blessing for my family and many others in my country because we receive material and spiritual help. A teacher of the evangelism team spoke with my mother to collect this information for you. May God bless you richly for your kind attention!
Sincerely yours,
Maycol Estuardo Daniel Garcia de la Cruz
