I hope you are having an amazing day. I am Hugo Fabian, and I am writing this to tell you about my family and me. I am healthy, and I am 12 years old now. I have a friend named David, and we have been friends since I started to attend school; we love playing soccer during the recess. Unfortunately, I am attending 2nd grade again. I was discouraged when I found out that I had not passed my grade, but God gave me the opportunity and encouragement to return to school. I am happy because I now have a baby sibling who is about 7 months old.  

I would like to ask for your prayers for my mom because she is suffering from strong headaches and stomach pain; she has not visited a doctor and has only taken pills to relieve the pain. She keeps doing the cleaning and looking after her domestic animals (turkeys, hens and goats); she helps with the income when she sells them. She is a wise woman, and I like talking with her. Hugo Efrain is my stepfather, and he does his best to cover our needs. He works as a farmer and day laborer in our town, but he goes to work as a “cargador” (to carry big packages for others) at Guatemala City for 5 or 6 months.  

My family and I attend Prince of Peace Church, and a beautiful service for us is the Thanksgiving Service for the end of the year. My family had personal problems last year, and they got discouraged, but LW Evangelism team took advantage of this opportunity to encourage us to continue seeking God. My mother is grateful to them for their words. She helped me to give them my information. Thank you so much for reading my letter.
