My Story

Good morning! This is Jairo Manuel Tzoy de la Cruz and I joined the Feeding Program eight years ago when my mother heard about the support for free. She registered me and she is thankful for the medicine and meals for free.  I enjoy the benefits.

As a family, we are catholic and we like to attend our church because we learn more about the word of God. I am part of the praise team and I like to serve God by playing the instrument called “gϋira”. The LW teacher encouraged my sister Rosa to continue seeking God because we are secure in our salvation since we accepted Jesus in our hearts. The teacher also prayed for the well-being of our family.

I am sixteen and I help to gather firewood. I love cold weather because I like to wear my warm sweaters. I live with my parents at home. My father earns a living by doing farm jobs, and my mother does the chores and takes care of the family. Moreover, she raises hens to sell and earn some money to contribute to the home expenses.
