My Story

Hello! How are you? This is Jorge, and I hope this letter reaches you in the right time. I want to tell you about my life and loved ones. I live with my mother who, thankfully, is in good health. Her name is Maria Teresa, and she is 45 years old. She is unemployed, so she does the laundry of others to support us. My brother, Brayan, continues helping her financially, and he is a helper in a warehouse. At the moment, we are in need of groceries and school supplies. We are not attending a church, but we hope to do it soon. Living Water has blessed me during this time, and I am very grateful for that.

My full name is Jorge Fernando Garcia Barreno. I find healthy, and I am 17 years old now. I passed to 10^th grade, and it is the first year of my professional career in advertising. I am happy to attend face-to-face classes because I understand better and I can solve all my doubts. It has been difficult for my mom to support me with my studies due to our economic situation. I want to become an advertising agent and learn English and French languages when I am older. I like New Year celebration because I am on vacation and I can rest. I do not have the custom to celebrate my birthday. I prefer basketball as a sport, and I love drinking hibiscus and “horchata” (cold drink made from rice and cinnamon) juices.
