My Story

Hello! How are you doing? I am so happy because I know you are taking some minutes of your time to learn a little about my life. In advance, thank you so much! My full name is Ashly Michell Rodriguez Chingo, and I am grateful to God for all he has done in my life. I am 9 years old, and I used to suffer from hepatitis. That was the most challenging and unpleasant experience I have had. However, my family and I put our confidence in the Lord, and He healed me through the medicine I had to take. Today, I am a healthy girl, and I am in third grade. I love playing soccer with my siblings. Three of them are enrolled in the feeding program. My best friend’s name is Hermelinda. I met her some years ago.

I want you to know that I have a lovely and healthy family. We are members of the Catholic Church, and the Holy Mass is our favorite activity. My parents taught me to love Jesus because he is God’s son and our Savior. I tell you that my father traveled to the United States about one year ago. I am glad because he is often in touch with us. He makes a living by working in a restaurant. We receive his economic support every fifteen days. On the other hand, my mother keeps busy doing the chores and taking care of my siblings and me. I identify with her a lot because we have a lot of confidence in each other.
