Hello! This is your sponsored child Dominga Castro Tomas, and I am so happy to write this letter for you. How are you doing? Let me tell you that I am in good health. As you know, I had my birthday in February. Today, I am 8 years old. I like studying, so I did my best at school this year. I was in first grade. My favorite spare time activity is playing with my dolls. I am glad to be part of the feeding program because it provides me with food and medicine for free. The staff prepares delicious dishes, but my favorite one is fried chicken. Thanks to your loving support, I can also celebrate Christmas at the feeding program. What I enjoy the most is receiving a Christmas gift from you through the staff and missionaries.
I want you to know that my father returned to Guatemala a few months ago. He works hard as a farmer in our village to support our family economically. My mom is a housewife and weaves typical clothes. She also raises hens and pigs to sell in case we need extra money. Fortunately, nobody is sick at home. I ask you to pray for my whole family and me so the Lord keeps us healthy. My family and I are members of a Christian Church called Faith and Power. I am glad because my parents welcomed Jesus into her heart many years ago. Today, my mom serves as a deaconess at church. To end this letter, let me tell you that a teacher of the evangelism team congratulated my family and me for being sure about our salvation. This is all for now, but I send you many kisses and hugs. Until next time!
Sincerely yours,
Dominga Castro Tomas
