My Story

Cordial greetings to you and your loved ones! I am Franklin Manuel Grave de la Cruz, and it is a pleasure to tell you a little about my life. I am 7 years old, and fortunately, I am a healthy boy. I am in first grade. I am still learning to write well, so I asked my mom and a staff member of LW for help writing this letter. I want to share that one of the most challenging experiences was when my father traveled to the United States. That made me sad for a while, but God comforted my heart. He also helped me understand that my father works hard to provide us with food and education. Please pray for him so that the Lord keeps him healthy as He has so far. He makes a living by painting and cleaning houses.

On the other hand, my mom is dedicated to taking care of my brother and me. She also raises and sells chickens to contribute to the expenses. I identify with her because she is loving and supportive. My best friend’s name is Mardoqueo. We became friends at school about one year ago. We usually gather to play soccer during recess or after school. To end this letter, I want you to know that Jesus is my savior. I attend a Pentecostal Church alongside my family. We enjoy the Thanksgiving services, especially for the harvest time.
