My Story

This is Fergie Sherlyn, and I am delighted to say hello to you through this letter. I hope you are doing well wherever you are. Let me tell you that my family and I still attend the Catholic Church called Santa Ana. We usually do it on Sundays. Before I continue with this, I want you to know that my grandma, Ester Merlos, and I gave all this information to an AAC member to share my latest news with you. My mom, Julissa Veronica Lopez Merlos, is 38 years old. She is a healthy woman who makes a living by cleaning house for other people. Her job as a single mother has been the best. She strives a lot to support my needs and cover the expenses, although it has been a little difficult for her. We need groceries, a new closet, and a new bed.

Now, I want you to know more about me. I am a 13-year-old healthy girl, although I suffer from allergies when the weather changes suddenly. When this happens, I take medicine. As for education, let me tell you that this year, I attended school as a seventh grader. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I understand the lessons much better. Fortunately, my mom did not have trouble covering my school supplies this year, since I am an only child. I want to continue to become an expert in motorcycle mechanic and speak English. Therefore, I would love to count on your prayers for me. I love summer season because I enjoy spending summer vacation with my cousins. I like soccer, and my favorite drink is Coca-Cola. When my birthday comes, I love going out for lunch with my family. I say goodbye to you for now, but if you want to hear more about me, do not hesitate to ask me.
