My Story

Hello! How are you doing? This is Valery Briseidy Palencia Escobar, and it is a huge blessing to share my 2025 news with you. I am a healthy 12-year-old girl, and I am in sixth grade. I have mixed feelings because I am in my last year of elementary school, and I will pass to the next level in my education, which makes me happy and a little anxious. However, God’s presence is with me. I believe He is giving me wisdom and helping me to move forward. I made one of my best friends at school some years ago. Her name is Emely and she is about my age. We enjoy eating a snack and talking during recess.

I am so happy because Jesus is my friend too. I love hearing about him at my church, especially when we gather with other families at their houses to study the bible. My family and I are members of Peniel Christian church. As you know, my mom works hard to cover our needs. She is a single parent and has a job in a tobacco company. She suffers from her nerves, but she gets shots to mitigate the issues. I identify with my grandmother because she is loving and takes care of me while my mom goes to work. She was glad to help me write this letter. Have a wonderful day!
