My Story

Hi! I greet you cordially and I hope you have a blessed and successful day.  I want to share with you a little about my family and me.  I am Lesly Maribel Lopez Cay and I am 18 years old. At the moment, we are attending the Catholic Church every Sunday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with us and for their encouraging words during the visit. Unfortunately, this year I repeated 1^st grade at school. I received face-to-face classes every night and learned a lot with this study method. I studied in the night school because I take care of my mother every day and due to my age. In the future, I want to become a nurse. I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn English which is an interesting language. My favorite season is summer because I love to play with water when the weather is warm. I like to drink Coca-Cola.  Among sports, I prefer soccer. What I like to do for my birthday is to have a delicious cake and to share it with my family. I have chickens and hens at home. I want to tell you that my father rents a piece of land and grows corn for our family consumption. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Felisa Cay Chunchun. She is 59 years old. Nowadays, she is bedridden due to the paralysis from which she suffers. Fortunately, I am taking care of her and she receives a dexamethasone injection as a medical treatment. My father`s name Lucilo Lopez Hernandez.  He is 57 years old.  He continues working as a farmer in order to support our family financially. Moreover, my sister Brenda is working as a maid and she contributes to our home expenses.  As a needy and humble family, our current needs are groceries. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every year`s end through LW and I hope you like to read my letter. May God bless you greatly and take care of you!
