Special regards from Chuchuca village! It is such a blessing to share a little bit about my life with you through this letter. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my information. My full name is Lesly Mendez Garcia and I am 15 years old. I no longer attend school, but I had the opportunity to finish elementary school last year. Today, I am dedicated to helping my mother wash the clothes, sweep, and make tortillas. I sometimes work as a day laborer and help my mother a little bit with the expenses. Thankfully, I am in good health. I prefer the hot weather because it is perfect to enjoy cold beverages. I have attended the feeding program for about four years. What I like the most about receiving the Bible lesson is praying.
My mother is grateful to LW-Adopt A Child for the medical assistance, food, and spiritual guidance since it is such a good support for many children. She prays that all the staff continues moving forward with their social work. My mother is a single parent and makes a living as a day laborer and farmer. To earn an extra income, she also raises and sells chickens and cows. We live with my grandparents at their house. We attend the Catholic Church and what motivates us to continue persevering there is learning about God, while we participate in the holy mass. The area that I like the most is the chorus. It would be a blessing to serve there. I am pleased to tell you that my mother has assurance of her salvation because she accepted Jesus in her heart. She helped me to compose this letter. This is all for now, but I hope to hear from you soon.
Kisses and hugs,
Lesly Mendez Garcia
