My Story

I greet you cordially and hope you are blessed by our Lord Jesus. I am Yesica Eugenia Tun Matzir and I am 11 years old. At the moment, we are not attending the Church because of the time. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with us and for their encouraging words during the visit. This year, I am in 5^th grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes every day and I am learning a lot with this study method. Thank God, my parents are making an effort to support my brother and me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that they do not have a stable job. Sometimes, it is very difficult to cover every expense. My dream is to become a policeman. I speak Spanish where I live, so I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. My favorite season of the year is summer because of the sunny days. What I like to do for my birthday is to eat delicious cake and special food for lunch. Coca-Cola is what I like to drink. Among sports, I prefer soccer. We have 1 rabbit and 1 cat at home. I want to tell you that by the grace of God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Marta Eugenia Matzir. She is 37 years old. Currently, she earns a living by working in a plant nursery in our village. My father`s name is Rony Omar Tun Barrera. He is 44 years old. As you know, he was separated from my mother 4 years ago and she was living with my stepfather Brayan Matzul, but he traveled to San Salvador city to work. So, fortunately, my father returned to live with us again.  Currently, he works cutting sugar cane in Escuintla during the harvest time in order to support the family financially. Please pray for our family. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I hope you enjoy reading my letter.
