My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you in the name of Jesus, hoping you have a wonderful and blessed day.  I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. I am Oscar Amilcar Alvarez Orenos and I am 8 years old. Currently, we are not attending any church. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team who shared the Gospel with my father during the visit and for their encouraging words. This year, I am in 1^st grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes every day and I am learning a lot with this study method. Nowadays, my parents are making an effort to support my brother and me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive and that they do not have a stable job. My dream is to become a chef. I speak Spanish where I live, so I would like to learn English; I think this is a very interesting language. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because I love gifts. Coca-Cola and orange juice are my favorite beverages. Among sports, I prefer soccer. What I like to do for my birthday is to eat delicious cake and share it with my family. We have a dog as our pet at home. By the grace of God, my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Yoselin Noemi Karina Orenos Subuyuj. She is 27 years old. At the moment, she earns a living by working every day in her own tortillas business. My father`s name is Victor Miguel Alvarez Marquez.  He is 29 years old. He continues working as a carpenter in order to help with the family's expenses. We are a humble family, and our current need is beds. We are very grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive every year´s end.  Thank you for reading my letter. May God bless you!
