My Story

Good morning! Thank you for the opportunity to belong to the Feeding Center. My name is Joel Antonio Garcia Luis. I was enrolled many years ago and I like to listen to the word of God in the Bible classes. My mother is thankful for the meals, medicines and Christmas gift I get in the Project because it was the reason to affiliate me. I am in good health. I like to help my mother to clean the house and I also gather firewood. I love hot weather because I like to go to the river for a dip. I am in 6th grade and I am fifteen years old. My parents are members of Prince of Peace Christian Church and they enjoy the songs and preaching. My mother is assured of her salvation in Jesus because she received him in her heart. The LW teacher prayed for me that I may seek God. My mother shared this information during the visit.

My parents are doing their best for us. My father does farm jobs and he is a day laborer while my mother is a housewife, and she contributes with some money by raising and selling hens and pigs. As you know, she suffers from diabetes and she is under medical treatment from the Public Health Center. I live with my parents and my older married brother also lives with us at home.
