My Story

Hello! My name is Domenik Cuni. I am 5 years old and my birthday is on December 17th. My favorite color is blu. I like this color because this is the color of the sky. My future dream is to become a musician. I like to play musical instruments and sing. I like to get together with my friends who live near my house to play outside. We play with ball, play hide and seek, run races and many other simple games such as these ones. We play these games in the roads in front of our flats because while we play, our parents keep an eye on us. My family and I usually like to take walks during the evenings. We walk in the roads of the town and go to the park. I enjoy playing in the park of our town for a while. I will start to frequent the preschool kindergarten again on September. At present the kindergartens close for the summer break. I am enjoying my summer holidays, but I miss my class friends.

My family and I live in Tirane. I live in a private house that my parent have previously bought. It offers appropriated living conditions to us. I have six persons in my family. My grandfather and grandmother are living in the same house. I have a brother who is 11 years old. He has completed the 5th grade secondary school. He is also registered in the sponsorship programme of Adopt a Child and we both enjoy our time frequenting the Bible classes of the church of God in Tirana. My father is working as sales manager and my mother is working as kindergarten teacher. My grandparents receive small retiring pensions too. My father and mother are both working constantly and they are providing well for our living. Even though, same as every family who lives in Albania, we live with low income and we also face financial hardships or other hardships that life can bring. I frequent the church of God in Tirana together with my brother and mother. The church has a dedicated class for children and I love the time that I spend there, learning from the Word of God.

The Living Water Adopt a Child church in Tirane meets on Sundays for the service. During the days of the week there are Bible studies in small groups for ladies, teens and Bible classes dedicated to smaller children. The teens and children, after they study the Bible and pray altogether, spend time to play outside in the sport-field of the church centre. All the children who frequent the programme receive every six weeks a package of food. They come to take this package together with one of their parents. A free dental care is also offered to the sponsored children. Thank you for your care and support. God bless you richly as you are blessing each child spiritually and physically.
