My Story

Hi! It is a pleasure to greet you cordially hoping you are doing fine.  I want to share some news about my family and me. My name is Naomi Alejandra Perez Perez and I am 15 years old. I want to tell you that we continue attending the Catholic Church. Thank you to the LW evangelism team who shared the gospel with my stepfather and for their encouraging words during the visit. This year I am in 8th grade at school. I am receiving face-to-face classes every day and I like this study method because I have learned a lot and am paying attention to the teachers. My mother and stepfather strive to support my siblings and me at school. Nowadays, school fees are expensive, and sometimes it is difficult to cover all expenses. My dream is to become a lawyer. I speak Spanish where I live, but I would like to learn English and also “kakchiquel” (a Maya dialect from Guatemala). Christmas is my favorite celebration of the year because we light fireworks. I like to drink only water. I like to celebrate my birthday by going out to light fireworks and I love gifts. I have 1 dog at home. Among sports, I prefer soccer. Thank God my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Lurdi Esperanza Perez Perez. She is 38 years old. At the moment, she earns a living by doing the cleaning in a tobacco company in order to contribute to home expenses. Unfortunately, this job is only for some months during the year. My stepfather`s name is Alvaro Andres Lopez Garcia. He is 27 years old. At the moment, he works as a plumber for Guatemala`s municipality. As a humble and needy family, our current needs are shoes and groceries. We are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed for instance with the meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gifts that I receive every end of the year. May God bless you and take care of you everywhere you are!

Huge hugs,

Naomi Alejandra Perez Perez
