My Story

I fondly greet you, hoping this letter finds you prosperous and blessed. First, I want to express my gratitude to you for supporting LW-Adopt A Child. Thanks to your donations, I can enjoy delicious meals and receive medical and dental care. I am Sandra Meliza Ajqui Garcia and I was enrolled at the feeding program about six years ago. Besides having food, I usually receive a Christmas gift and participate in the bible classes; what I like the most are the gospel songs. I tell you that my whole family and I are in good health. I am 11 years old and I attend the fifth grade at school. When I come back home, I usually do homework and help my mother with some chores. She keeps busy with the everyday tasks and sells chickens and pigs that she raises to contribute to the expenses. My father continues making a living as a day laborer and farmer.

We are glad to attend our church because there engaging activities. We are members of the Pentecostal Prince of Peace Church and what we enjoy the most during services are prayer and worship time. I would like to have the privilege of serving God by doing any task at church. I tell you that brother Hercules (a member of the LW staff) recently asked my mother about her salvation. She told him that she accepted Jesus in her heart some years ago and since then, she has tried to do things according to God’s will. He congratulated and encouraged her to continue trusting in Jesus. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family so that God keeps us healthy and safe.
