My Story

It is such a blessing to greet you by means of this letter. I hope you and your loved ones are keeping well. By means of this, I want to say thank you so much for supporting LW-Adopt A Child! The food and medicine that my siblings and I receive at the feeding program are a great blessing. My name is Bayron Anibal Ruiz Garcia and I am 10 years old. I am in fourth grade at school and I am in good health. At home, I usually help my mother to look for firewood for our consumption. About my family, I tell you that everybody is doing well. My mother is a single parent and works hard to provide us with food and all that we need. I have one brother and one sister. My uncles and their own families live with us too. They are my relatives on my mother's side. Unfortunately, my father abandoned us many years ago. We have heard nothing about him.

I tell you that my family and I are members of the Catholic Church. My mother is assured about her salvation because she accepted Jesus in her heart a while ago. We feel motivated to attend church because we enjoy attending mass. To end this letter, I tell you that a member of the LW staff encouraged us to keep going in our faith.
