My Story

I greet you fondly, hoping this letter finds you doing well. My name is Nestor Miguel and I am sixteen years old. I live with my mother and at the moment, we do not attend any church. I am grateful to LW because it has been a great blessing for us. For instance, an AAC member shared the gospel with my mom while he was collecting my information for you. My mother told me that listening to the gospel encouraged her to pray to ask for guidance to attend church soon. My mother’s name is Melina Soledad Alvarado Lorenzana and she is 42 years old. She is a hardworking woman who does her best to support me. Our greatest needs are food and having a new closet. She makes a living by washing and ironing clothes for other people. Besides that, she sells second-hand clothes. Thankfully, we are in good health.

Let me tell you that I am in tenth grade, which is the first year of my professional career to become an electronic technician. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because it is a better and easier method to increase knowledge. Unfortunately, my mother has not found a stable job, so her income is barely enough to cover my school supplies. Therefore, I would like to count on your prayers for my mom and me. I would love to become a system engineer and speak English when I am older. My favorite season is summer because I take advantage of that season to play in the water with my friends. I had my birthday in June. If there are enough resources at home, my mother buys a delicious cake to celebrate my birthday. I love drinking Coca-Cola and my favorite sport is soccer. I say goodbye to you now, but I appreciate you for taking the time to read my letter.
