My Story

Hello! I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are doing great! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Catholic Church; we go on Sundays and Tuesdays. This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to continue seeking God and trust our salvation in Him. I am so thankful to God because my family and I are healthy. My mother is Elisa Obispo Ajqui, and she is 34 years old. Most of the time she does the housework and watches over me and my siblings. My father is Rosalio Jimon de la Cruz, and he is 42 years old. He makes a living by working as a construction helper. We do not raise animals or grow anything since we do not have space to do it.

I am Glendy Nohemi Jimon Obispo, and I am 10 years old. I was in third grade this year; I received classes at school and my learning was going great. Nowadays, school supplies are very expensive, and it is hard for my parents to cover them because of a lack of resources. I would like to learn English; I think it is a very interesting language. When I grow up, I would like to study to become a nurse. I enjoy playing football which is the sport I like the most. I want to tell you that my favorite juice is the orange-flavored one. I like Christmas time because of the firecrackers; I light some of them and I have a lot of fun with my siblings. On my birthday, my family buys a cake to share with me; I love eating cake. I take this opportunity to give thanks for the love and support I receive from Living Water; I am so blessed to be part of the program. The greatest needs are groceries, corn and clothes. I say goodbye to you for now, but I hope to receive news from you very soon. Every blessing to you!

Kind regards,

Glendy Nohemi Jimon Obispo
