My Story

This Karla Paulina, and I am excited to share a little bit about my life with you. I live with my parents and siblings. We attend a Christian Evangelical Pentecostal Church every Monday and Friday. My father is Mateo De La Cruz Garcia, and he is 55 years old. He makes a living as a gardener for the city hall every day. My mom is Marta Gonzalez Morente, and she is 49 years old. She dedicates her full time to our family. She also raises our hens. Thankfully, we are all in good health. We are a family with low economic resources. Some of our greatest needs are groceries, especially corn. Taking advantage of this opportunity, I want you to know that LW has blessed many families like mine with delicious food. Thank you so much for trusting in this project!

As for me, let me tell you that I am 12 years old. This year, I attended school as a fifth grader. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I understand the lessons much better. Praise the Lord, my parents could cover my school supplies. My favorite holiday is Independence Day. We celebrate the independence of our country on September 15. I love this day because children and teenagers organize lovely parades and activities at schools to celebrate. I like drinking lemonade, and my favorite sport is soccer. I would love to speak another language like English. I hope to accomplish it someday. There are many engaging things to do when you want to celebrate your birthday. In my case, I love having a delicious cake. To end this letter, let me tell you that my father helped me to give all this information to a LW teacher to share with you my latest news. I will leave you now, but if you want to hear something else about my life, feel free to ask me. See you later!

With much love,

Karla Paulina de la Cruz Gonzalez
