My Story

Hello! My name is Eliora Hafesllari. I am 11 years old and my birthday is on December 29th. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is pink and my future dream is to become a medical doctor. Previously I liked to become teacher. I go to school where I spend the first part of my day. At the end of this school year, we will have an exam and afterwards, we will be classified to another school stage belonging to ages 12-15 years old. My favorite subject is language and literature. I love my time at school. Besides learning, I have many close friends from my class and we engage in games and conversations during the lesson breaks and have a good time. When I come from school I meet to play outside with my friends who are in my neighborhood. I take my bicycle and ride it around, in the roads close to my house. I enjoy playing basketball. I can play basketball at the park, or while I am at school, during the hour of physical education. My mother, sister and I usually take walks during evenings and we go to spend a while at the park of the town where my sister and I play. My sister and I play a lot together when we are inside the house. My sister and I always help our mother when she fixes the beds, dining table and when she cleans the house, we un dust the furniture in our living room. My sister and I are both registered in the sponsorship program of Pogradec. We both frequent the Bible classes on Sunday. Our mother joins the church service in the same time we are in the Bible classes. My sister and I receive every six weeks food package provided for us through Adopt a Child. My family lives in town and we own our apartment which offers nice conditions to us. My father works as hired in daily or weekly bases. He goes to work for the people who plant is their fields being hired from them, but he receives a very low income. He used to emigrate in the past to work in Greece, but he has not gone there since a whole year. He is still providing for our needs working only in daily and weekly bases. My mother started to work as cleaning lady in a few houses where she has been hired by individual people and families. Doing the cleaning she is paid very less, but the income she brings it highly appreciated for us who have very limited income and face financial hardships. My mother is doing also the cooking and cleaning in our house and her day is very busy, therefore I am constantly helping her out with what I can offer. I am happy that I can participate in the church and Bible classes and find new friends to fellowship and to play with. Thank you for the food provision and the spiritual care you are offering to me and my family. God bless you in abundance.
