I am Brandon David Cardenas Giron, and I am happy to introduce myself to you through this. I hope you are fine. I am twelve years old. This year I am in sixth grade at school. At the moment, I am taking virtual classes. Currently, I have learned slower through this study method. So, I am doing my best to get my studies ahead. The thing I missed from the feeding program was, God’s Word they taught us there. For me to get there, it takes ten minutes by walking. My father has given us economic support occasionally. He does not live with us. My mom works as a waitress at a restaurant, and thanks to it, she provides for my family financially. My family and I go for a walk and get some snacks for us to have a nice time together. On Christmas, we prepared meal for dinner for the family only. At the moment, we are attending Ebenezer Church, located twenty minutes away from home. My mom is an usher in the church. The time the church was closed due to the pandemic, we felt sad, for we were not able to attend it. Thank God everything is normal already.
We live at my maternal grandmother’s house. We use one room that is made of cement block, tin sheet roof and ceramic floor. We cook the meals within the same room. It has electricity and as well as running water. Water seeps through one of the walls of the neighbor’s house. Pandemic affected everybody’s economy, for products of daily consumption rose in price. Food supplies as well as clothing is a greatest need for us. For that reason, I thank to the feeding program for the grocery bags we received in difficult time. It was all a great blessing at home. At the moment, we are all doing well at home, thank God. Finally, I want you to know, my cousin gave this information in person, to an Evangelism team member who visited us at home, to share with you my last news. I was glad to get in touch with you through this. May God watch over you and your family.
Lots of hugs,
Brandon David Cardenas Giron
