Hello! I want to start this letter by praying that God’s peace and love be always with you and your loved ones. This is Kandy Sucely de la Cruz de la Cruz, and I am so happy because I can share a little about my life with you. I hope you like my letter. I am a healthy 9-year-old girl, and I keep busy helping my mother to do the household chores. I do not attend school because I prefer to stay home. I want to share that I enjoy attending the feeding program because there are nice and engaging activities, which excite me a lot. I can feel God’s love and care through the staff. Now, let me tell you a little about my family. I am pleased to share that everybody is doing well. My mother keeps busy doing the chores and taking care of my new baby brother, while my father works in the field.
My father is a farmer and a day laborer. He usually travels to the coast and works in sugar cane plantations for two or three months to support our family. As for our spiritual life, let me tell you that we do not attend church, but we know that Jesus is a faithful friend. Recently, a member of the LW staff shared the gospel with my grandmother and me as an encouragement to seek the Lord. Please pray for us. We took advantage of that opportunity to share all this information just to let you know about it. Now, I want you to know that my best friend’s name is Maribela. We sometimes meet to play freeze tag. I say goodbye to you now, but I send you many kisses and hugs.
From the bottom of my heart,
Kandy Sucely de la Cruz de la Cruz
