Hello! My name is Dulce, and it is an immense pleasure for me to write you this letter in which I can tell you more about my family and me. Thankfully, I am in good health. I am 12 years old, and I am in 6th grade this year. My best friend’s name is Emily. We have been friends for three years and we like to play hide-and-seek. Recently, I had a beautiful experience; we had a cultural activity at school in which we had lots of games and food, and I could feel God’s presence in this beautiful time. My family and I are not members of any church yet, but I can tell you that I consider Jesus as my friend. Besides that, we were encouraged by the Evangelism teacher to seek God and attend a church.
Thankfully, my parents are in good health; now my father is living with us again. He returned home some months ago, and he is working as a mason in Jocotenango and surrounding areas to cover what we need. My mother is working now in a tortillas business to improve our income. I admire my mother, and I identify with her the most because she is a strong and hardworking woman. Before saying goodbye, I want you to know that my sister, Damaris provided this information. I will be waiting to hear from you soon. I wish you the best in everything you do, and especially many blessings from God over you and your family.
Kisses and Hugs,
Dulce Sofia Caal Subuyuj
