My name is Tereso, and I greet you lovingly, hoping you are doing well. I am glad to share my last news with you, so I hope you find it engaging. My family and I still attend the Prince of Peace Church; we usually do it every Monday. Thankfully, we are healthy. Emilio De La Cruz is my father, and he is 37 years old. He supports our family by cutting sugar cane at the coast; he usually travels every seven months. My mother works hard at home. Her name is Roselia Benito, and she is 40 years old. She raises pigs and hens to sell and get an extra income to cover other needs. Our economy is weak, so my parents have trouble buying firewood and food supplies like corn and beans. I am twelve years old, and I attend fourth grade. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because that helps me to learn and understand the lessons more.
I have heard that working as a mason helps you to earn good resources, so I would like to try it when I am older. Christmas is my favorite time because I love burning firecrackers. I love drinking Incaparina (a typical hot beverage) and playing soccer. I had my birthday in June; I love breaking a piñata (a traditional birthday puppet full of candies) to celebrate a new year of life that the Lord gives me. If I could learn how to speak another language, I would choose English. This is all for now about my life, but before saying goodbye to you, let me tell you that LW is an enormous blessing for my family and me. The LW staff spoke with me to collect this information for you. Besides that, they encouraged me to continue trusting in God. See you later!
Kind regards,
Tereso De La Cruz Benito
