My name is Rodolfo Cecilio, I am 17 years old and I am living with my parents and siblings. Unfortunately, I could not continue with my studies this year due to a lack of money. In 2020, I started 7th and 8th grade at school for older people, but I had to drop out since I ran out of work in the plant nursery, and I could not pay for my studies. Currently, I do not have a stable job, so I am helping my father to farm the land. My father is working in plant nursery and every day strives to supply our expenses. My mother stays busy with the chores at home.
Let me share that the covid-19 pandemic affected my family economically because my father and I lost our jobs. We were surviving with the little money that my father and I could get. In spite of these hard times, we could see God´s hand moving in our favor through the help that we received from the local municipality and the feeding program. We are really grateful to Living Water /Adopt A Child because they blessed us with groceries when we needed it most. We did not hope for this help but we appreciated it a lot because it was really helpful for us. We give thanks to LW for so concerned for the children and families during the pandemic. We pray to God asking for many and rich blessings to you and everyone who contributes so that children can get this help. Thank God, my family and I are healthy and nobody has been infected with covid-19 so far. We are attending Christian Church. I want to let you know that a member of the AAC team called my mother, Yesenia Cachupe by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I say goodbye to you for now. Be safe. Every blessing for you!
With much love,
Rodolfo Cecilio Rodriguez Cachupe
