Hello! My name is Carlos Geovany Arevalo Benito, and I am excited to share a little about my life with you through this letter. I am 13 years old and I am doing my best at school. I am in third grade and receive classes on the morning shift. After school, I do homework. I like weekends because after helping with the housework such as cleaning the field or feeding the domestic animals, I can rest. My family and I harvest corn at home for our consumption. We also raise hens to sell in case of necessity. Thankfully, my whole family and I are in good health. My adopted sister keeps busy helping my adoptive mom with the housework. They also earn a little money by picking tomatoes in our village. Please pray for provision and food for my family and me. In advance, thank you so much! We have been members of the Catholic Church for many years. My mom is sure about her salvation, so a teacher of the LW evangelism team encouraged her to continue growing in her faith.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, I want you to know that LW-Adopt A Child has blessed us greatly. My sister and I can have delicious meals at the feeding program. The food that we enjoy the most is fried chicken. I can also receive a nice Christmas gift from the staff and missionaries during the annual Christmas party at the feeding program. I say goodbye to you now, but if you want to hear something else about my life, feel free to ask me.
Hoping you have a great day,
Carlos Geovany Arevalo Benito
