Dear Madrina, I greet you in this blessed day and I hope you are doing well. I want you to know that I feel so happy to have you in my life, and this is a good opportunity to share with you some details about my family and my life through this. As you know, my mother is working in Guatemala City. She works in the tortillas business in order to sustain the family. She visits me every three months. In addition, she travels to the coast from November to January to pick coffee beans and she earns some extra money. She is a healthy woman. Her name is Santos Ruiz Gutierrez. Fortunately, I live in my maternal grandmother´s house. My grandfather works as a farmer. His name is Basilio Ruiz. My grandmother also is a farmer. Her name is Rogelia Gutierrez, and they take care of me while my mother is working. As a family, we attend the Catholic Church and I like to participate in different activities where we honor God. My grandmother is assured of her salvation in Jesus and she provided all the information to the LW evangelism team.
I am Sandra Paulina Coj Ruiz and I am a seven year old healthy girl. I am a 1st grade student, and I want to let you know about my saddest experience that has impacted my life which was to find out that my father abandoned me and I do not know anything about him. My grandmother takes me to the Church, and she prays that the Lord heals my heart. Jesus helps me when I ask him. I admire my favorite aunt Rogelia because she helps me in different ways when I need it. I hope you enjoy reading my letter. I send you all my love and I wish you all the best!
Huge hugs,
Sandra Paulina Coj Ruiz
