My Story

Hello! My name is Wenceslao Angel Pastor Hernandez, and I am glad to tell you my 2024 news through this letter. I am a healthy 13-year-old boy. I am glad because I am enrolled at school. I am in sixth grade and have classes in the morning. I usually help my younger brother and father to work in the field on weekends. We grow corn and beans for our consumption. I want you to know that my whole family and I are grateful to God because I can receive many benefits at LW-Adopt A Child. One of the greatest blessings is having a warm and tasty lunch at the feeding program. I love having fried chicken the most for lunch at this project. My mom is grateful to the staff for sharing the gospel with her and being on the lookout for our spiritual well-being. I celebrated Christmas at the feeding program last year. What I enjoyed the most was receiving a lovely gift.

Now, let me tell you a little about my family. Thankfully, my parents are in good health. Please, pray for my oldest brother. He is a deaf-mute person and gets sick easily. He used to wear hearing aids about seven years ago. Unfortunately, those no longer work. My father is a farmer, and my mom is a housewife. My mom sells flowers at the market on Sundays to help at home with her income. We are passing through a difficult economic situation, so I beg you to pray for us. We raise hens and pigs for our consumption. Let me tell you that my whole family and I accepted Jesus as our Savior some years ago. Nowadays, we attend Emanuel Christian Church. To end this letter, I send you my best wishes.
