My Story

Hello! I wish from the bottom of my heart that you are in good health and receiving the blessings of our Lord Jesus. I am is Alex Jimon Calachij and my age is 10 years old. This year I continue receiving face-to-face classes and I am in 3^rd. grade. I enjoy studying in this way because I learn easier. My parents are doing their best to support me at school. Nowadays, school supplies are expensive and it is very hard for them to cover the expenses.  I would like to learn English because I think it is a very interesting language and my dream is to learn to drive a car. I love Christmas time because we light fireworks. I enjoy drinking Coca-Cola.  For my birthday day, I would like to have a cake but my family does not have enough money to buy me it. My favorite sport is soccer.

I want to tell you something about my family. Actually, we continue attending the Catholic Church every Monday. When LW staff collected this information, they shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to continue seeking God. My mother is Hilaria Calachij Garcia, and she is 35 years old. She is a housewife. Moreover, she raises domestic animals like hens and sheep for selling to get some income. In addition, we grow corn and black beans for our consumption. My father is Pedro Jimon Simaj and he is 38 years old. This year, he continues working in the United States. His job consists in washing dishes in a Restaurant. By the grace of God my parents, siblings, and I are in good health.  My family is so grateful to LW for blessing me with a delicious meal. As a humble family, our priority needs are corn, groceries, and clothing. I hope you like my letter. May God bless you!
