My Story

It is a great pleasure to send you many greetings and hugs. I am Ana Leticia Riz Hernandez and I am seventeen years old. I did not continue with my studies due to our low economic resources. I am working as a maid and in my free time, I help my nieces to do their homework. My father continues living in Mexico and he is working painting houses. He does not have much communication with us and he only sends a little money. Sadly, my mother passed away years ago and since that time, my aunt takes care of me. My aunt works as a farmer and she is covering the home expenses. Fortunately, the current situation has not been affected us a lot. but we were very afraid and now, we already adapted. We use our facemasks and we have precautions to prevent the virus.

God has blessed us with his grace because we have had life and health. Let me tell you that one of the AAC-team called my aunt and she was the one who gave this update information about me; it was by phone due to the current situation. We have received groceries bags from Living Water and it has been a great blessing for us. I am grateful to God and you for all the support that you have given us. May God continue blessing you! Thank God, we have not gotten sick from the virus and we are healthy except for my father because he suffers from diabetes but he is in medical treatment. We attend Catholic Church every Monday. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to hear news from you soon. Please, take care of yourself.

In Jesus name,

Ana Leticia Riz Hernandez
