My Story

Kind regards from Guatemala! My name is Berenisa Juana Melissa Garcia Chitic, and I am excited to share my news with you. I am a healthy 12-year-old girl. I am so happy because I am in sixth grade. I trust that God is with me, so I pray for wisdom so I can advance in my education. If God’s willing, I will be in seventh grade next year, so my heart beats with excitement. I am glad because Jesus is my friend. I enjoy learning more about him at my church. My family and I attend a Pentecostal Church. We enjoy all the services, especially the Thanksgiving service.

My whole family is doing well thanks to the Lord's providence. I love my mother so much because she is understanding and helps me in everything. She is a great housewife who weaves typical clothes and sells hens to contribute to the household expenses. My father is also doing his best for our family. He works as a farmer and day laborer. Before saying goodbye, I want you to know that my best friend’s name is Emely. We enjoy playing tag and doing homework when we gather. Until next time!
