I feel so excited to write and send you this letter; I hope it finds you in good health. I am Alejandro De Jesus Xiloj Xam, and I am 12 years old. This year, I am in 6th grade, and I am receiving study guides and classes online every other day. I go to leave my homework at school every week. It has been a little difficult for me to study with this method because there are topics that I do not understand so well. My father does not support us because he has been in jail for many years. My mother is the only one who works hard to cover our needs, and currently, she is working as a house cleaner. Many people lost their jobs due to the pandemic, and it affected my mother because less people hired her to clean their houses. Fortunately, we have been able to go ahead.
We have seen God’s faithfulness in our lives because He has kept us safe from the virus and has always provided us with a plate of food. We received grocery bags through Living Water and they were a great blessing for us because we got them when we had nothing to eat at home. I pray God blesses this Ministry for everything I have received. Thank God, we are healthy. Currently, we are not attending a church. Lastly, I want to tell you that my mother helped me to give this information by phone to a LW Evangelism teacher. The staff did not meet us personally because they are avoiding physical contact as much as possible since they want to protect us from the current virus. I say goodbye to you for now wishing you the best.
Love and hugs
Alejandro De Jesus Xiloj Xam
