My Story

Hello! My name is Klea. I am 3 years old and my birthday is in September. I am happy to share with you about myself and my family through the questions that the team of Adopt a Child is asking me. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is red, and I desire to become an artist singer when I grow up so that I can perform in concerts. I know that first, I need to study at school, especially about arts and music. I go to kindergarten here in the village and enjoy learning new things and playing with toys and dolls with my classmates. We learn poems by heart and do lots of singing and dancing. After the lesson hour, our teacher takes us outside to spend time playing in nature. We also take short distance walks. I spend the first part of my day at kindergarten and at midday, my mother comes to walk me home. After I eat lunch, I like to go outside and play with my friends and cousins who live near my house. We meet to play in the roads and our games are simple. During the day, while I am inside the house, I like to draw and color and I also spend time playing together with my twin sister with our dolls. I have six members in my family who are my father, mother two sisters and my brother. My sister and brother are older and I have a sister who is my twin sister. My older brother go to school and my twin sister and I go together to kindergarten. All four of us are registered in the sponsorship program and frequent regularly the activities of the Living Water church. We live in a village that belongs to the community of Prrenjas and this town is close. We travel there whenever we need to do shopping. We have no hospital or clinics in our village and when we need to get a visit from the doctor, we need to go to the hospital of the town. Our house is in good condition of living. We own our land and my mother is planting vegetables for consumption. Farming is very less beneficial and for this reason, my father works in construction whenever he gets hired. He does not have a full time job, but he is earning and covering our basic needs. My mother is jobless. Even though, she gets very busy all day long because besides gardening, she does housekeeping and cares for me and my sister who are little children. My older sister and brother help her where they can. Since my father does not have a full time job and my mother is a housekeeper, the income in our family is low and we are poor. I am happy I got registered in the sponsorship program of Adopt a Child, after frequenting regularly in the Bible classes and church services together with my siblings. I am happy to learn about the Lord through the Bible lessons and from now on, I will start to receive food packages constantly.
