My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are doing great! This is Angel Josue Mixiya Melgar, and I am 11 years old. I am in 5^th grade; my classes are in the afternoon shift. I like to spend my weekends playing football, I have a lot of fun. Our pet is a dog. My mother tries to contribute to the income by working as a maid and washing clothes for other people in the village. My father is still working for San Sebastian Farm; he cleans, fumigates the plants and picks the coffee beans. We are fairly well at home; however, I want you to pray for my mother who suffers from diabetes. She is taking medicines to stay under control.

I am so blessed to be part of the feeding program; I love the tasty meals, the gift I receive at Christmas, and bible teaching. My favorite meal from the program is stew with rice. My parents are also thankful for all the benefits we get from the program. In the future, I would like to be a member of the team from LW and serve; I like the environment there. My parents, siblings and I have already welcomed Jesus in our hearts, and we attend Foursquare Church. We appreciate the encouraging words that the LW team gave us to continue seeking God. As a family, we appreciate your prayers for us. To close, let me tell you that my mother provided this information to the LW staff to share it with you.
