Hello! I am glad to greet you through this letter. I am Ana Cristina Gomez Lux, and I want to share with you a little about me. I am eight years old, and I am a student. I am in the second grade at school, and I am receiving face-to-face classes twice per week. Thank God, the study method has not affected me in my studies. I love the meals that I receive from the feeding program, and when it was closed, I missed attending it. Fortunately, the program is open again, and I walk about fifteen minutes to attend it. My father is supplying our needs by working in a brick and tile factory. My mother stays at home, and she is a little sick, so she does not do the housework. I ask for your prayers for mom because it seems she has cancer in the womb. She already visited the doctor and is taking medicine. When my parents can, they buy a homemade snack to share in family.
We do not have the custom to celebrate Christmas due to our religion. We attend Assembly of God Church, and we take about ten minutes by bus to arrive. My parents have the privilege to be deacons, and when our church closed due to the pandemic, we felt so sad. We live in a rented house, and it is made of adobe, tiles roof and dirt floor. There is running water and electricity at home. We have two rooms and a kitchen. Our needs are groceries. We were affected at the beginning of the pandemic because there was not much work. The groceries that we received from the feeding program were a blessing for us. I want you to know that my mother gave this information about me. I send you many hugs and kisses. May God bless you always!
With much love,
Ana Cristina Gomez Lux
