My Story

My full name is Wilmar Jairo Edwin Grave de la Cruz, and I fondly greet you through this letter. I want to share that I am a healthy boy. I am 9 years old and attend school as a third grader. Fortunately, my family is healthy, too. My father traveled to the United States a few years ago. He keeps in touch with us every two days and helps us economically. He works by painting and cleaning houses. In the beginning, it was challenging and sorrowful to accept that he lives in another country. However, God has made me strong and helped me to understand that he is striving to provide us a better quality of life. If you ask me who Jesus is to me, I would say He is my Savior.

I love and appreciate my mom because she is cherishing. She keeps busy doing the chores and raising chickens and pigs. She sells them to contribute to the expenses. We attend a Pentecostal Church and enjoy all the services, especially when our brothers and sisters in Christ thank the Almighty for their harvest. To end this letter, I want to share that my best friend’s name is Kendel. We became friends about three years ago. We have a lot of fun playing soccer. Have a wonderful day!
