My Story

Hello! I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are doing great! This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to look for a church and seek God; we appreciate the advice. So, please pray for my family, especially for my mother who recently lost her father and one brother. Moreover, my mother suffers from diabetes and for now is taking some medicines to stay in control. I am doing well and enjoying good health. My mother is Leyla Mejia Ordonez, and she is 38 years old. She makes a living by selling food at home; thanks to her job, we have what we need at home. My father is not in my life because he abandoned us a long time ago. We have two cats as pets.

I am Genesis Sarai Mejia Ordonez, and I am. I attended 11^th grade; it is the second year of my career to become an accountant; I received classes at school, and it was so good for me. Supporting me at school has been hard for my mother because of a lack of resources, especially now that school supplies are so expensive. My dream is to study to become a professional in beauty care. I would like to learn English; I think it is a very interesting language. On my birthday, my family buys a cake and prepares a special meal for me. Christmas is my favorite season of the year; my family gets together and has a joyful time on those days. My favorite drinks are water and Coca-Cola. The sport I like the most is football. I am so grateful to Living Water for blessing me through the program; I receive food and medical care in the clinics; it is so helpful for me. At home, the top priorities are groceries, clothes, and footwear. Sending huge hugs. May God bless you!
