My Story

Hello! I am writing this letter to share my 2024 news with you. I hope you are doing well wherever you are. I am Gerber Adan Velasquez Chuy, your sponsored child. Thankfully, I am a healthy 8-year-old boy. I am in second grade at school. I have classes from 7:30 to 12:30 pm. I have fun playing soccer with my friends on weekends. Using this opportunity, I want you to know that LW has blessed me so much with food and medicine for free. I love having Bolognese spaghetti at the feeding program. Thanks to your loving support, I can receive a Christmas gift and a special lunch annually. May the Lord reward you for all you do for me!

Now, let me tell you about my family. My father works as a carpenter in the city to support our family economically. He usually visits us once a week. On the other hand, my mom dedicates her full time to looking after my brother and me. By the grace of God, my whole family is in good health. We attend the Catholic Church in our town. We appreciate that a teacher from the LW staff shared the gospel and encouraged us to seek God more. My family and I raise two chickens at home. We also have a cat as a pet. See you later!
