My Story

Hello! It is a great blessing for me to be part of the feeding program from Living Water. My name is Gerber Adan Velasquez Chuy. I am a 9-year-old boy. My dad works as a bricklayer. He has not lived with us for several years, nevertheless, he visits us every weekend and supports us economically. Unfortunately, my mom is in prison and it seems, she will be there for some years. Due to my parents’ situation, my brother and I are living with my maternal grandma Isidra Cojolon Dondiego. She is a housewife and takes care of us. She receives money from my dad to supply our needs. Thanks to God, we are in good health.

I am in 3^rd grade this year. My brother Gregorio is also my friend and we enjoy playing together. I get along very well with my grandma because she always looks out for me. I get so happy when my birthday comes, and my family usually buys a cake to celebrate. I thank God for having a lovely family. I believe in God and that Jesus is our savior. At the moment, we do not attend any church, but we appreciate the encouraging words from an evangelism teacher to invite us to look for a church and seek God. Moreover, he prayed for our family situation since it is sad for us to live without our parents at our side. I would like you to know that my grandma, Isidra, shared this information with an evangelism teacher to update you about me. This is all for now and I would like to hear news from you.
