My Story

Hello! I hope you are doing great! I have been thinking about you and wanted to send you a big hug in this letter. Please receive warm regards from Neymar Yerinson Garcia de la Cruz. I am 11 years old now. I feel so happy because I am in 6^th grade, and it is the last one of Primary School. I have the blessing to be part of the feeding program for three years. Thank God, I am healthy. I love hot weather because I enjoy cold beverages. I help my father do farming jobs after school. I am a shy child.

I would like to ask for your prayers because my parents are having health problems. My father suffers from uric acid and takes medicine. My mother has a hernia in her stomach. She was diagnosed in a Public Health Center but is not under medical control due to lack of financial resources. She only takes natural medicine for pain. My father still works both as a farmer and as a day laborer. My mother stays at home doing the chores and she earns money raising and selling hens and pigs. In addition, she also grows cabbage and broccoli to sell. My parents are grateful for the support I receive through the feeding program. It is a big blessing for many families in our town. My family attends a group which belongs to the Catholic Church called “Renovacion Carismatica”. We appreciate the time LW took to encourage us to continue trusting in God. I hope you like to read this letter and that I have news from you soon.
