I am happy to say hello to you through this. This is Roxana, and I hope you are doing well. I am fifteen years old. I am not studying this year because we are not able to afford my study expenses, as you know. So, I spend my time helping my mom with the household work. I missed a lot attending the feeding program, the time it was closed due to the pandemic. I am happy because the program is open again, so I get there in forty minutes by walking. My father is still in the United States. He has been working as a tree cutter there, but unfortunately, he is sick with gastritis. My mom is having kidney pain. They already visited to the doctor, but are not taking medicine yet. They do it when they have the resources to. My mom stays home raising some domestic animals for selling. In the afternoons, my family takes advantage of the time to talk and share. We do not usually celebrate Christmas due to the lack of resources. We are still members of Assembly of God Church that is located ten minutes away from home by walking. We are happy because now we can attend the church.
We live in a house of four rooms and separate kitchen. Its walls are made of cement block, the roof is of terrace and the floor is of ceramic. It does have running water and electricity. The house is in good condition. During the pandemic we were affected by the prices of the products that rose. Clothing, corn and food supplies are a greatest need for us, for that reason, I thank to the feeding porgram for providing us with grocery bags which were a great blessing for my family and me the time we needed it the most. Thank you very much! Thank God, my family and I are all doing well, for now. Finally, I want you to know my mom gave this information to an Evangelism team member to share with you my last news. I really appreciate your time in reading this. I say good bye to you for now.
