My Story

My full name is Edwin Cristian de Leon Garcia and I am excited to share with you my latest news. I am 5 years old and fortunately, I am in good health. I hope this letter finds you keeping well, too. I want you to know that I am in pre-kindergarten and I have attended the feeding program for about two years. The things that I enjoy the most are praying and listening to Bible verses before having my meals. At home, I help my mother to feed our chickens. She raises and sells domestic animals to help my father with the expenses since he makes a living as a day laborer and farmer. I am grateful to the Lord because nobody in my family is sick. I like hot weather because it is perfect to take a shower with cold water. At church, I like taking part in the Bible lessons alongside my older brother and other children.

We are members of the Prince of Peace Church and appreciate that our pastor provides a meaningful spiritual guidance to learn more about God. I am pleased to let you know that my mother is assured about her salvation because she accepted Jesus in her heart when she was a child. This was possible thanks to the discipleship lessons that she received at the feeding program. I want to take advantage of this to express her deep gratitude to LW-Adopt A Child for blessing and transforming her life with God’s glory. Due to her wonderful experience, she decided to enroll my brother and me into this charity organization. To end this letter, I kindly ask you to pray for my mother since she suffers from health problems, but she is already under treatment. In advance, thank you so much!
