Hello! I send you warm greetings. I hope you and your family are in good health. I want to tell you that my family and I are healthy. I had a small accident in 2017. I was playing when I fell down and I hurt my right eye. My whole family suffered with me, but I received medical treatment. Thank God, I am better now. I can see a little more and I am grateful to God because I did not stay blind. I am advancing in my studies and I am now in fifth grade. I am enjoying life and I am appreciating time more because I know that every moment is a treasure, and we have to make the most of our time.
My father goes to pick coffee beans at the coast, and when he is at home, he dedicates his time to farming the land. He grows black beans, corn, peas and green beans and he sells them in the local plaza in order to buy the things that we need at home. My mother also contributes with the home income. She weaves typical clothes and raises domestic animals for selling when we need money. I want to share with you that I am part of the discipleship classes. Every Tuesday, I attend the classes after lunch; there, we sing praises, hear God’s Word and then organize a football game. My favorite season is Christmas because we prepare “tamales” (typical dish) and I receive a Christmas gift at the feeding program. I thank you for all the support you have given me. I would like to meet you in person someday. I say goodbye to you for now hoping to hear from you soon. Take care of yourself.
With much love
