Hello, everybody! This is Carlos Eduardo Gonzalez Quexel and I am so happy to write this letter and tell you a little about my life. I am 16 years old and I am already in high school. I am in 10th grade and this is my first year of two years in a training in Science and Arts with an orientation in computers. Thankfully, I am in good health and I like both cold and hot weather. I have attended the feeding program for many years, which has been a great blessing since I receive food and medical care for free. I want to use this opportunity to express how grateful my parents are for all the support that I have received from good-hearted people like you through LW-Adopt A Child.
About my family, I tell you that they are in good health. My father works hard as a farmer, while my mother keeps busy taking care of our family. I usually help her with some household chores. My grandmother lives with us and contributes to cover the expenses. To earn an extra income, my brother and I work in a coffee farm from November to February. My whole family and I are members of the Catholic Church and what motivates us to persevere there is our need for God. I am grateful to sister Princesa (a member of the LW staff) because she shared the gospel with my father and encouraged him to trust even more in the salvation that Jesus gave him because of love and mercy. She also advised him to take care of his spiritual life and do what is correct. This is all for now, but I hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards,
Carlos Eduardo Gonzalez Quexel
