It is a great blessing to greet you through this letter. I am Edy Ismael De La Cruz Riz and I am twelve years old. This year, I am studying and I am in the fifth grade at school. I am receiving classes from 8:00 am to 11:30 am three days per week. I do my homework at home, and I deliver it when I go to receive my classes. I am not learning much, and I am worried that I am forgetting what the teachers are teaching us. I am living with my mother and siblings. My mother does the household chores and prepares our food. She returned to work as a seamstress of typical clothes in Zacualpa town, and she covers the home expenses. My family was affected by the pandemic situation because my mother did not have a job, but we could go ahead thanks to the groceries that we received from the school and from the feeding program.
Fortunately, the groceries that we received from Living Water were a great support for us that we did not expect and helped us to feed ourselves. God has been faithful with us because we have not lacked food at home. My family and I thank you for all the help that you have given us. Thank God, we all are in good health and none of us have been infected by the covid-19 virus. We attend Prince of Peace Church and we receive three hours of preaching every Friday. I want to tell you that one of the AAC secretaries called my mother and she was the one who gave this information about me; it was by phone due to the situation that we are living in. I say goodbye to you for now. May God bless you and pay you back for all you have done for many children!
In Jesus name,
Edy Ismael De La Cruz Riz
