My Story

I am so glad to be able to share news about me and my family through this letter. Thank you for reading it! I am Joshua Isai Hernandez. I recently turned 18 years old. Unfortunately, I could not continue my studies because my mother did not have enough resources to support my studies. Last year, I dropped out in the middle of the school year for that reason. For now, I work as a motorcycle taxi driver, but the motorcycle is not mine. It is borrowed. My hobby is playing football. My favorite meal is smashed potatoes with chicken, and it is delicious.

My mother is a single parent, and it is harder for her to supply all our needs. She sells underwear and second-hand clothes to get income, nevertheless, she does not earn very much. Unfortunately, my stepfather is no longer living with us or supporting us. So, I want to ask for your prayers for my family; we trust in God to get our daily provision. I am so thankful to be registered in the feeding program because the medical care, food and the word of God bless my life greatly. Someday I would like to join the LW staff and learn to serve; it must be wonderful. We attend New Hope Church; my mother, sister and I have accepted Jesus into our hearts.
